urmmm i dont think it would i would get a 600w just 2 make sure!!!

get the ocz gamestream so so so quite i have got it and it has a nice blue light and very stable!

Minimum of a 400 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 26 Amps.)

It should, but you will be taxing it when you adjust for efficiency. Don't overclock anything, and measure your voltages with a tool like speedfan or Asus' monitoring utility to make sure you aren't getting way low (<11.3-11.5V) on your +12V rail. Even that's a tad iffy, as bios are notorious for being off a hair or six on actual volts.

Cooler Master isn't the best (Seasonic, Antec, Fortron), and you're flying without active PFC, but they certainly aren't crap (Powmax, etc), either. It would always be better to get get a +550W from a top-tier mfg, but you should be ok with yours until you decide to upgrade.

I would check reviews on newegg for that videocard and see what others are using as far as PSU's.

Nvidia recommends a 400W or greater power supply with 12V current rating of 26A for GeForce 8800GTS

you would be cutting it close with that PSU. you also have to take into consideration how many hdd's, fans, and other cards you are running. I would probably upgrade the psu. you dont want to risk damaging a expensive video card.

if your strapped for cash then try it, But NO overclocking. as i manage to run my 8800GTx ona 650watt at 36amps.

If it doesnt work the GFx will either beep or will clock down the card. But if your gonna buy a &#163;300 a good psu is a must as if the psu goes pop itll most likely take the pc with it.

yeh im going to have to buy another psu cos my current one dosnt even have to right power connector to plug into a pcie card lol it only has those 4 pin and im pretty sure the 8800gts has those six pin connectors.
Im thinking of getting a CoolerMaster Extreme Power 550W PSU. ATX, 12cm Cooling Fan, 3x S-ATA, 20+4pin, 1x PCI-E [RP-550-PCAR] for $89 AUD or a Thermaltake 550 Watt TR2 Power Supply [W0102] for 130.
