Buying a Headset/Microhpone: Reccomendations

hey i am on the market looknig for a new headset microphone for teamspeak in bf2 but i have not got the slitest clue on which one to get, any reccomendations? like brand names, types or models?

You could go out and buy a pair of expensive Logitech headphones or you could just buy a really good pair of earbuds and a desktop mic. Its cheaper, looks less stupid, and can be used for lots of purposes.

The earphones are damn amazing. They won loads of awards from reputable magazines like Stuff and T3. The mic transmits perfectly over TS and Vent.

Don't waste your money on a really expensive pair!

If your looking for a cheap but durable alternative I really have to recomend the Logitech Precision Gaming Headset not much more than you'd pay for something from a retailer and very durable I used to get through a headset every three months but I've had this one since new year and it hasn't set a foot wrong.

Plus your ears don't get hot because of the open design, great value for money so far.

Oh also, try not to get a pair that use USB. If you forget to plug them in before you start the game, you're going to have to turn off the game, plug em in, then boot up the game again. This gets VERY annoying, especially when you just get on a server and you forgot to plug in your headset and mic.

thanks for all of you suggestions, i just purchased a logitech headset off ebay called logitech premium headset 350, i thought i might as well get a good one because i will be using it quite alot.

Mate that is cheap!
I paid about £60 for my ones and even that is cheap when you consider that they take the place of speakers totally.
Honestly, once you've tried them, you won't want to go back to speakers :)

i will tkae your word for it, even if i did bid for it i still have about 7 days of bidding to go and it may well add up to double that price!!
