    cpu 100%

    i have just upgraded my Graphics card from a 9800 to a n6800 but i still get a glitch on the video at the start of bf2 ,after a bit of playing arround i've found that mu cpu runs at 100% while playing bf2 and other games
    could this be a driver problem ??? or should i start ocing my cpu
    system specs in my sig

    knee-jerk reaction is spyware/malware.

    a memory leak in another program isn't totally out of the question, either, or your AV/AS/FW may all be trying to run things in the background concurrently and bogging things down.

    wrt your drivers, did you:

    1) have the most current ATI drivers (7.4)

    2) uninstall these drivers from the add/remove programs panel

    3) reboot

    4) and install the appropriate nVidia drivers for your OS and card?

    edit: didn't read it correctly the first time. I'd expect your cpu to run close to 100% while gaming. As long as it comes back down to 1-5% when you exit and are parked at the desktop with minimal processes, I'd say it's working as it should.

      hi thanks for the reply i uninstalled all the drivers and run driver cleaner
      i think i have found my problem v synk ect is turned off lol
