    Built me a computer!

ok guys, i need a new computer. i dont care how easy it is im not attempting to purchase all the parts and put it together myself. I was thinking of buying a computer from www.ibuypower.com

I am using this computer for COLLEGE (word, powerpoint, etc) and BF2
I want this computer to last for a few years
I just need the box, and I'll buy a flatscreen monitor IF its worth it (was looking at the 19 inch gaming flat screen)

Please dont write back and tell me what i need, ive been looking around in threads and i dont understand and still cant build it correctly. Can someone please build me one and I'll just go and buy it?

My budget for the box is $1,000-$1500 - price can go up if monitor is included.

Okay i have a computer configured by HP it comes with a 19 in monitor, good processor and a really good graphics card that will play BF2 on high graphics no problem....it comes to $1579...but uhm....the link is gay, the link wont show you the configured components...so ill send an image along one sec....

okay the uploading attachment thing isnt working .... but this is the link to the HP desktop computer... ill leave you with the liberty to configure it as you wish...http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/sh...=d4890y_series

a good rig could be easily done for $1200~ did u see the "new rig" thread? consider e6400, drop to 2 gig ram, and a GTS, case Antec 900 = done!

do you need other stuff like keyboard/mouse operating system?

hey man, saw your post on "new rig" and i went to ibuypower.com and i tried to build it and i got all confused so i made this thread. I really dont know anything about computers

maybe if you can break it down for me a little better?

by the way, i can spent more money if its REALLY worth it.

ok so heres what i have so far...

        420w power supply
Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600
        Thermaltake MaxOrb CPU Cooling Fan
        eVGA NForce 680i
        Mushkin 2048MB [1024MB X2]
VIDEO CARD IM CONFUSED ABOUT, THERE $$$ HELP ME!!!!
7,200rpm 500gb hardrive (also have 200gb external on my desk)
        Sony CD/DVD Drive
NO CD-RW/DVD-RW drive (do i need one?!)
Creative Lab Sound Blaster Audigy SE
        Re-use OEM speakers + mouse
        stock floppy
ViewSonic 19" VX922 TFT LCD Monitor [Extreme Gaming] (opinions???)
        Logitech G15 Gaming Keyboard
        4 USB ports
        MS Windows XP Professional
        MS Office 2007 Basic Edition
        $20 voltage regulator

thats it. I need help with the video card and monitor. I could re-use my monitor that i have now (NEC FE 992) but if a nice 19 inch flat screen for $100 more i'll take it. Also, if I can cut prices anywhere (something i dont really need) i'll also like to cut up the price as well. Please let me know i want to order ASAP. comes with 3 year warranty and life time tech support

its $2025 right now without upgrading my video card.... why so expensive? where can i cut corners...thanks!

        helppppppp

um u dont need a e6600 u can get a e6300 which is good still.
u dont need 500gbs plus ur 200gb external hard drive. (unless if u want all that p0rn on ur comp to make it slower):yay:
i would get a 8600gts since they are better at lower resultions.
            maybe not a gaming screen???
i think that the motherboard is SLI which u dont need unless u want to later on get another GFX card with the 1 u have. both the cards have to be the same.u might be able to get the cheap vista for cheaper then xp PRO(not sure??)

Its so expensive since your buying a pre-built PC! That total would be $1500 so far if you were building yourself(or maybe even less).

For a video card, the 8800GTS 320mb is great, but it doesnt seem to fit your budget well.
