Don't quite understand the "check out the combos on the case part". I looked back through the thread and didn't see a link (my eyes maybe?) to a 320GB drive. Generally, I'd recommend hd's from Western Digital, Seagate, or Samsung with features like

      16mb cache,
      ncq
perpendicular recording (samsung has a different name for it)

      would be swell.

Seagate has the best warranty, samsung has slightly quieter, sometimes slightly speedier drives for (usually) better prices, and they're my current fav. Plenty of folks swear by western digital, too.

Edit--hmmm...for the time being, I'd ignore the samsungs. They've only got a single model with a 3-year warranty:

The rest only carry 1-year parts and labor. That just doesn't cut it. 3-yr warranty MIN is almost a necessity, and Seagate offers a 5-year one all ALL their hd parts.

Edit 2: duh. Now I see the combo. You mean this drive?

      Looks sweet to me.
