hi i have windows xp 64 bit, i decided to install a vista theme onto my xp cause it looked aawesome. so i d/l it installed it, and it asks to reboot so i do. but when it caem up to welcome screen and i signed......the whole screen just says vista on it....and froze. so i turned off my computer manually and booted it up again only to find that my computer freezes on the welcome screen. what should i do? please help!

(actually, my friend is having this problem, not me, i just copyed and pasted what he wanted me to say.)

    can anyone help??

    he also said this later:

    RED XIII 224: screen*

RED XIII 224: all it says is vista

RED XIII 224: but thats all i can see cause i only have half a monitor and i cant see the rest but i know it says something after vista.....but my question is do i have to click on something to go to my desktop? or should it have just tooken me right to it?

i had a vista theme thing for xp for a while but it was only for eye candy. i actually had trouble uninstalling it so if u cant, get into safe mode, and it iwll ask u if u want to use system restore so use that. that was prob the only one time that system restore ever saved my comp

btw if u do use system restore, make sure u choose a restore point of when u installed a program. somehow i can never restore to "checkpoints"

Bricopack is a good theme...dont know whats wrong on your end.

But, when it gives you those options, choose "Safe mode"

It will boot Windows with a black background, 800x600 or so resolution and it will say Safe Mode in all corners. Go to your control panel, add/remove programs and uninstall the Brico XP theme...then reboot normally...

It should ask if you can see the little window with a countdown timer...click OK if you see it..if not, wait 30 seconds...
