Is it possible to put ddr667 and ddr800 on the same mobo in their seperate dual channel slots?

should be no problem. the ddr800 will run at ddr667 speeds, though, unless you overclock it. -

the decrease is fine but both sets are 2 gigz so will it show up as 4 even tho the diffrence?Comment

If you're only running a 32bit os (such as win xp, not the x64 version) you aren't going to see all 4gb. Because of the 32bit limitations, it can only see about 3gb of the ram, the rest won't exist. If you want to fully use your ram you'll have to upgrade to either xp x64 or a x64 version of vista.Comment
