ok i am getting vista,i only need the basic edition(no flammers on how vista sucks,i know the rick im taking.)im wondering what the difference is between

well you dont really want to get the upgrade packs, just the ones listed as Retail wheather it be Home Basic/Home Premium/Ultimate,

You do understand that MS is being sued because of the lack of funcionality of Home Basic. Home Basic is not worth it please reconsider. Home Basic is accually a downgrade form Win XP.

Be a man get a real OS like Win XP Pro x64.
