    ubuntu 7.04

    Anyone d/l this yet?

Ubuntu is the modern, open source operating system on Linux for the enterprise server, desktop, cloud, and IoT.

I am right now, and will be installing it shortly. I've always sort of given up after a while on this ubuntu stuff, but I have a good feeling about this one. Only concern I have is getting my wireless usb adapter to work..

Wish me luck, I'll tell you guys how it is after I install it..

With wireless cards you need a specific chip, there are some chips that simply don't work. you should be able to search the Ubuntu forums for your wireless card and see if anyone has it working.

I've had it installed for a few days, its quite good but the installer imo need some major improvements.

yea, ive read about the wireless cards. But, I havent attempted to try that driver wrapper thing (not sure of the real name) but I might try that out and see if it works.

                Seriously?

Arguably the easiest to use distro, it's almost like windows when you're running KDE...

They say its so easy, but I can't even get it to install lol. The older versions have worked by installing them on a partition on my hard drive, but this new one just wont work.
