    The registry removing things

My friend has AOL.... i reinstalled his pc and used the internet to get AOL so its configged to my internet connection his is different but when unistalling AOL it still keeps the settings if i remove it from the registry will this solve the problem of it remembering the settings? Im guessing it will be in software and AOL or something and compeltely remove that i hope this it right can anyone confirm this?

ewww AOL.. you think you've got it all deleted and then you find some more :s

you can delete the stuff in the registrey for AOL there might be more than one, but it shouldnt cause any problems,

Download RegCleaner from MajorGeeks.com (or your preferred download site)
And run it to remove all old registry entries and you will be fine! (ALL of AOL will be history from the PC then, and you should get some speed back too)

RegCleaner will keep you from manually having to delete entries with RegEdit, and also keep you from accidently messing up your registry. BACK UP your registry before you mess with it with either method.

          Good Luck
