    Lost CD-Key

I got BF2 over a year ago and never thought to write down the cd-key for it. Recently I formated my hard drive on my pc and now I can't find the manual with the cd key on it.

I still have bf2 installed on my uncle's pc, which is what i'm on right now, and I checked the registry and its reaaally long and encrypted i guess. Any way of decrypting it or anything to get the cd key back?

If you haven't registered the game, click on the Register Now link that is in the BF2 Start menu folder. The go to www.ea.com, sign in with your EA/Gamespy/Pogo/etc ID, then click on My Account/My Games and you can retrieve your cd-key that way.

Works for any EA game that you own and register.

          yeah i think so too

im thinking i can just export the encrypted registry and put it on a disk then import it back on my computer if i install it with a pirated cd key or something, anyone know if that'll work?

That will work, in case you still have the old key in the registry.
