Video lag since upgrade Graphic Card

Hi guys,
I have just upgraded my Video card to Geforce 7800 GT, with CPU 3.gHz and 2 Gb ram, it lag badly. I have tried both Medium and High Video quality in BF2, with different resolution .. still lag... can any one tell me what happen ??

Did you uninstall the gfx drivers on the old card?

What drivers have you got with the new card?

hi ...
what I did was having a friend to re-format and re-install the whole thing.. then download the driver from Nvidia website and install it. I also tried to uninstall, cleaned up driver yesterday and re-install , but still lag. It lag when smokes, or many people at scene (on the No vehicle map) ... All setting was at medium except High Geometry and Max view distance.

Try Low??? But That Card Should be Able To Play It Smoothly At Med - High...

also uninstall vid card drivers and reinstall, and reinstall direct-x again sometimes that can get corrupted. good luck.

maybe try changing the afinity to CPU 0 through ctrl+alt+del?

make sure no crap is running in the backround... then again you said you formatted so... O.o goodluck!
