    AGP Write Help !!

    I have a ATI X800XT PE and cannot enable AGP Write . AGP read & Fast Write are checked . When I check it & restart it remains unchecked .If I type SmartGart in the run command it says not found .I go into DXDIAG and it says everything is fine , I'v tried older drivers and everything from running driver cleaner pro , reinstalled AGP drivers ect...
    specs.
    Intel D845GRG , 2.8 cpu , 2 gig ram , Antec NEO 420 ps , SB-XFI , XP Home
