The problem with the Merc is that it doesn't come out of suspend (driver problem). So, every day, I have to unplug/replug it in to get the keys on the left and right of the QWERTY part to work. Stupidest drivers ever!

I'm not sure how that would work with PS2 vs usb.

I have a Belkin PS2 one that works fine. You switch machines with double-tap Scroll-Lock then 1 or 2. I'll try and get the model number off the back when I get home.

I've got a Merc gaming keyboard. I've got my main computer and a small linux box. I would love to find a KVM that worked with the two, but the ones that I have tried so far usually screw up gaming, causing keystrokes to get dropped or mangled, making it unplayable.

Has anyone found a relatively inexpensive KVM that keeps up with gaming?

It depends on wether youre using a PS2 or USB keyboard/mouse. I have two PCs and use a kvm switch. I have no problems. IOgear and belkin make great kvm switches. Oh and make sure u update your drivers/zboard engine for the keyboard.

I haven't loaded the latest Merc keyboard drivers (a few weeks old) yet. I downloaded them, but just haven't installed them. (very picky drivers, and I try not to do it too often).

The Merc is a USB, and my mouse is a Logitech G5 (USB).

Then get a USB KVM switch. Sometimes using a USB to PS2 converter will not work; especially if its a Ideazon keyboard.

In an earlier post in this thread, I stated I had tried both a PS/2 (earlier keyboard) and a USB KVM (with the Merc). Both had issues.

I don't want to spend $200 on another one and not have it work right either.
