    I need suggestions

I want to do an upgrade to help improve my gameing experience on battle field 2/special forces

    my specs are

    AMD Sempron 3300+

2.0 Ghz, 736 MB of DDR Ram

    100GB HD

Video: nVIDIA GeForce 6100 (PCI-EXPRESS SLOT AVAILAIBLE)

    Comcast High Speed Internet

    MY GAMEING EXPERIENCE
    ------------------------
Basically, computer has little computer lag when I open, BF2. The things that make me mad is when I join a game, the game and everything loads at a ok speed, but then "Varifying Client Data" take FOR EVER!

When the map changes on a server, my first 2 minutes in the game I see horrible lag, so bad I cant describe, then it starts to edge out and I can play fine. ALL MY SPECS ON BF2 are set to low btw.

anyways, i cant afford a whole lot, so im most likely thinking about upgrading my RAM or video card, which do you think would work the best to help repair the problems I listed above.

    EDIT
    ------
Also, please make suggestions for certain parts, such as what kind of video card or what kind of memory.... ty

AND AT MOST I CAN PROBABLY SPEND ABOUT $130

First things first, how much do you have to spend?

If we know how much you have to spend, we can tell you what to get, etc.

        Re: I need suggestions

I would say before you spend any money, check out tweakguides and see if any of that may help. also shut down any programs you can that are running in your system tray so that you have minimal resources being used.

other things to consider: have you:
        defraged ?
        updated vid drivers?
        lower bf2 vid settings?
temp disable virus scan while playing?
clean/dust the inside of your computer to reduce heat?

None of that will really matter.....

What you really need to play BF2 without any studdering is a good gfx card and at minimum 1 gig of RAM. So, both.

Give me some time tonight and I'll see what I can do.

            Re: I need suggestions

tbh, i would just save up money for a whole new computer because $130 wont get u that far.
but if anything, i mite go for a 7600GT or 6800GT and if u have any money left over, get some more RAM

but as i said, i would wait till u had some more money to upgrade. idk much about amd cpus, but im not sure if sempron is that great of a processor, so if ur going to stick with ur 6100, u can check out my guide to see if it can help u http://imlin.com/pwh/5200_tweakpage.htm and look at #4
