Can an onboard nVidia GeForce 6150 run BF2? Or will I need to get a new video card?

Get a new graphics card. Best thing to run BF2 for cheap is a 7600 GT. Cost you about $120:

It will play, but on the lowest possible settings. I would go with Lonegunm4n's suggestion.

It will JUST about play. But expect to not be able to shoot things.

I would hold out just a bit longer!!! The nVidia 8850 will be out soon then all the lower models will drop in price again, so you can get a better deal!! I would personally suggest a 7900 or a 7950 if you want the best experience, but that will cost you close to $300 at the current market (but as I said those will drop with the release of the 8850). Now you are stuck with the oldest ugrade question in the book....BUY NOW OR WAIT.....sorry but it is your choice.

i disagree, i once had an onborad 6100 from emachines, played BF2 just fine and about at 40-50 FPS on dead low but it still played

i am running bf2 on that very card with 512mb ram..... it runs, and afetr a while runs ok, bits of lag every now and then and recently alot, but i think thatw as mainly a ram problem... but definitely upgrade, i have to run it on lowest possible settings and a view scale of 50%

Okay, so here is my system specs... everything will run fine except for the video card? And can someone recommend a video card on www.ncix.com 'cause I live in Canada and Newegg isn't an option.. thanks...
