Help with Boot Defrag!

Help! In attempt to defrag my Page File on boot I get this message:



Right after it says this it immediately finishes booting and skips the defrag. It happens when I try to defrag my System files on either drive (C or D). The only way I can defrag my system files is during boot.

No idea what program you're using.

What I do to "defrag the pagefile" =

disable the pagefile

defrad the HD that the pagefile is on

enable the pagefile at 2048 bytes.

All through windows, control panel, system, performance, advanced menu.

What in the fartknocker are you using that requires very low-level access? If it isnt' working, just use the defrag utilty that ships with M$ Window$.

It says it quite clearly, there is a driver conflict.

You'll probably have to change the order in which they're loaded, can't remember how.

If you're running a dual-boot setup, defragment one drive then the other from the opposite OS.

Actually to defrag the pagefile only, all you have to do is disable it and then re-enable it. I meant to say the system files as a whole. It simply wouldn't let me do it on boot.

And its not "low level access". Unless you disable some things, you can't defrag system files unless you do it during boot.
