My... somewhat beasty computer .
Hey guys.. Just wanted to post something on that's been buggin the real **** out of me lately. Tis about my comouter, and hey.. I love it. It's such a nice computer it's a darn beast. But.. well somethings ****ting me..
Whenever I play Counter-Strike Source or BF2, i'd get these 2 particular game crashes.
For CSS I'd get this retarted crash. out of nowhere 1CM dots just come up out of the screen ,I'm suspecting my graphics card.. Also i'd get that pretty much common crash the one with the repeative sounds.. But then after 20 seconds it'l fix itself.
For BF2, the dot problem, but it's very rare when it happens to BF2... It also takes quite a while to load into the server when i join a game.
My suspicions are that my graphics card and somehow screwed up. It never EVER used to do this before however, i started putting the computer on standby mode to save electricity, maybe somehow that's effecting my Graphics card? I don't know.. i just don't know and it's a pain in the *** having to deal with it. If you would like to know I have an ATI X800 XL (RADEON) Card. Oh.. and i've tried updating my card on the card on the AMD ATI site.. But it doesn't seem to make a difference. but otherwise the whole thing works cleanly like other than games. It doesn't fail at all on that.
So if anyone can help, please do so.. I would greatly appreciate it.
