Get a Core 2 Duo E6300 or E6600 or E4300 processor, they're all better than the AMD. The e6300 and e4300 will be cheaper than that processor by far.

You could definitely get a better PSU, and add 1GB of RAM on top of that.

Ah. Alright, that's good.

Just replace the X2 5400 with a Core 2 Duo E6x00 or E4x00 and use the £40 you save to buy a decent brand name PSU (Antec, Enermax, Thermaltake, Seasonic, etc).

graphic card is very good.
The e6600 will not pay off , e6300 clocks very well and running it at 3Ghz is no problem at all. 6600 is not worth the extra cash.

If he's going to be overclocking the E4300 is a far better choice than either the E6400, or E6300.
