Have you had any problems with your attack 3?? I have one and everytime I go to use it both the helos and aircraft slowly pitch up and right till they roll...usually 99.9999% of the time ending in a crash.
I have tried setting the trims thru windows and have finally given up on flying.

Don't know about your joystick but maybe ut has auto calibration??

The Saitek Cyborg EVO has that. You cycle your joystick in a circle, twist the handle both ways and they are automatically centered...I do this all the time before flying the first time in a BF2 round.

Recently I had this problem, but this was only because I reinstalled BF2 and I reinstalled windows, thus the calibration was not configured. It was fixed by calibrating the joystick. Now it very, very, VERY, slowly rolls to the left- slowly as in if you are flying a straight line, for 2 minutes, you will still be right side up. While flying, I havent noticed anything- I am still able to fly low to the ground and zip by buildings and through alleys without crashing in a f35. To answer your question in short, my joystick is just perfect. If you are even slightly off when calibrating even the best joysticks out there, you will still experience un intentional movement. Just calibrate it as best as you can.

A few months ago I bought a logitech attack 3 joystick, and it cost me around 20 dollars in US currency, so it is definately in your price range. its comfy and all, and has been used vigorously for the past year with no damage or change in quality. go for it.

Well I Bought the Logitech Attack 3 as a temporary Joystick; to get used to them and test it out. I was extremely disappointed in the fact theres no twist to it..

However, I can make up for this with the two buttons on the side of the top bit.

I'll see how it goes, I always saw a Cyborg Evo and it looked amazing, however it was wireless which instantly is a big NO - NO!


I like the look of a Blackhawk, if this one doesnt work well, I'll buy the hawk definatly.

I just dont get why ppl use joystick to fly jets in BF2... It totally messes up my MG accuracy.

It doesnt, once you get used to it.

Take Logitech 3D. Went from Attack to 3D. 2 sticks in 2 years, but 3D is going to last me at least 2 more because Im using it the way its meant to be used. Thats how a Logitech fanboy is born, by using quality products.
