Start Up Proplem

Hi i have a start up problem, when i turn my pc on the screen wont come on for like 10 mins + most of the times anyone know the prob?

how old is the screen? had probs with it flicking out before? what about your graphics card, that fairly old or new?? changed anything around?

When U boot the PC, do you still get a single beep before the OS loads? If the PC is booting and the status light on the monitor is green but the screen is black, then everything should be good. If there is no signal and the monitor is on, then it will say so.

ok when i start up the monitor screen light stays orange and wont turn on for ages.

dunno how old screen is , had no flickerin probs, nividia geforce 7300gt sonic, havnt changed anything.
