New Sound Card

in the next few months i am goin to get a new sound card do u guys think that the creative x-fi is the best or is thier another card that is better. i am looking to spend around 150 if not a lil more.

Yes, the X-FI is one of the best.

I luvs my new x-fi.

I didn't get a chance to try any other though. Everyone I spoke to was in agreement that an x-fi card was the way to go.

i think i will go for this then thier is a reg gamer for 79 but the money is no issue if its worth it.

X-Fi is a great card more sound came out at me that i didnt even know existed but there is one drawback i have had with my card and that is apprant compatability issues with my mobo speficaly a chip used in my mobo, causes the sound to crackle and screach at me for a few seconds then completely dies ... few mins later it happens again and the sound is back

Yea get the Xfi...no doubt its the most popular, not to mention with a good set of speakers/headphones everything sounds amazing.
