For some reason, everything seemed fine earlier on. I shut down my computer because i had to go to a dinner. When I came back to dinner and turned on my comp. I could not log into my personal windows account which access you to your own desktop. It told me that the input /output crashed, which means that I had lost all my files. I could not play bf2, it says invalid cd when i play multiplayer. I had lost all my music and important files. Anyone can help?

Which Windows are you using? I'm not sure what is going on either, but definitely try SickieWifeBeater's idea. You can also try seeing if the computer logged any errors at that time by going to Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Event Viewer.Comment
