    Internet lan connection problems

    well my mobo has 1000mbps lan ability and its only running at 10. can anyone help me change it to 1000?

    You need a cat5e cable, a gigabit router, and a gigabit dsl/cable connection. Once you have that, you'll get 1000mb/s.

      First of all, if you want to run Gignet (1Gbps/1000Mbps) every networking device must support Gignet. that includes your router. Oh, and upgrade your networking cable from CAT5e to CAT6. Even though CAT5e can handle speeds up to 1Gbps, CAT6 was designed for Gigabit Ethernet networks.

        alright, my router, mobo, and modem suppot 1000mbps connection so if i buy a cat6 cord it should automatically go to 1000mbps
