Help for BF2 to those who have problems
Hello to one and all. Just a few nights back had a huge problem putting BF2 back on each time the game would spin and then start up and back to desk top. Some have posted this type of error. So I may be able to help those who had this trouble.
1 to uninstall the game I suggest that you go into control panel and remove it from there.
2 As for the patches all you need is the FULL 1.41 patch to be able to run BF2 if you try to install the other patches (as I did) you will soon find that the BF2 will jump back to your computer desk top
3 Some had this other problem I did as I wanted to play Euro force and the game came back with Unmodified content? Make sure that you have up dated PB (Punk Buster) it says on the official site says that PB up dates itself but just make sure. This did help others, But I would recommend you reinstall the whole game placing the 1.41 FULL patch when you have installed it.

5 I confess I don't know hardly anything about vista but people had problems with it. So this may be of help for you. Apparently it has UAC if you turn it off before you play the game this may help. You then should put the UAC back on when the game has finished some have found that the game works beautifully Turning the UAC off.
6 Other bits and bobs about Game. I tend to turn off firewalls, anti virus that run in the back ground these things tend to get over looked. Also so many people tend not to update graphic cards and the like this is some of the problems keep your computer up to date with such things will be a huge benefit in the long run
7 Quite few wanted to change the user name in the game can it be done? No simple as that once you have chosen your name it can not be changed
8 Stats not updating? This question get asked loads of times and it down to the servers at EA which sometimes have loads of information to process especially during weekend and night time you just have to wait until the server catches up with itself.
Well If I think of any think else that may help you all I will post it up. Hope I have help in some way. I am not a computer geek nor do I confess I know it all but such things did help me and others.
