    VOIP Problems

New to Battlefield 2, and I'm dying to get the full experience of playing, but its really limited by the fact that my VOIP doesn't work. The box is checked in options, I did the voice set up successfully, and when I do a mic test in options it recognizes my voice as well. But when I enter a game and press "B" I neither speak nor do I hear anyone else. When I go to options in game, the box is unchecked and I can't activate my mic. Anyone have any ideas why this is happening and what I can do? Apparently it's a rather common problem but Google hasn't offered me any answers. Much appreciated!

you have to join a squad to talk...hit your "caps lock" key while you're in the game and join one.

Actually, I just figured it out. For anyone who is having this problem too, you should go to Start - Windows - Run, type in dxdiag, go to sound, and turn down your hardware acceleration to Basic. This should solve all problems. Thanks anyways!
