                          Global Warming.....
A political issue that is in the news everyday is global warming. That's right, it is a political issue, not a
scientific or environmental issue. How do we know for sure?
First of all, let's be sure to understand that there probably is some global warming going on. The earth has always been either cooling or warming. Greenland, which is mostly covered in ice, is called Greenland because hundreds of years ago it was "green" with farmlands and forests. But as the earth cooled down, it was slowly covered in ice, but the name Greenland stuck. During the building of the Siberian railroad, the builders routinely found palm trees under the ice, proving that that area was once very warm. Obviously, the earth has had many cycles of cooling and warming.
Lesson learned: No one can really tell us what the ideal temperature of the earth should be.
So why do we hear so much about global warming in the news? The answer is that it is a political issue. The alarmists paint a picture of rising oceans, devastating storms, and the extinction of mankind. Since global warming is a "global issue", it will take a "global government" to fix the problem. Many alarmists want the United States to become part of the Kyoto treaty. Countries like the United States would have to cut down on their making of "greenhouse gases" (like carbon dioxide) which would slow down their economies. Developing countries would have little or no restrictions while their economies would theoretically catch up.
If these greenhouse gases were so dangerous, why are the developing third world countries like China and India allowed to continue making them? The reason is that the real issue behind global warming is not our survival or the health of the planet, but removing the United States as the world's only superpower.
Global warming advocates are anti-capitalist and marxist in their political views. They are using global warming as a way to crush the industry and power of the United States and make the U.S. "just another country". Don't let them get away with it. Get informed and spread the word!

They could have at least used some legitimate evidence for showing that the world naturally cools and warms (which I know it does) instead of making **** up.
