personal statements are hella hard to write without being boring/rattling off a list of achievements.
Short essays (like 250 words) are harder to make look good though, imo, because you have less space for the fluff and stuff that make them look good.
Focus on one major achievement/ defining moment. That way you can give fluff and seem honest. Choose an event that exemplifies your best characteristics and what you want to prove to them. Now, all you have to do is write down what you think of when you remember this moment.
