BF2 won't install

For some reason by BF2 doesn't install it says that there is something wrong with the data2.cab. It also won't recognize my graphics card. Its a laptop Nvidia Geforce GO 7900 GS, with the newest drivers. I already had it in my laptop but now it won't install. Any help would be much appreciated.

Is the game bought or have u dloaded the game illegally?

bought and its the cd not the dvd.

ok here is exactly what it says when I manually install it:Cannot open data2.cab because it is not the standard microsoft CAB format the "signature bytes" are missing.

spiked its not installed and blaine is this just a manual install or is it something different cause I already tried the manual install. but I've basically tried that already and in the process of pasting it into the install floder it just says that winzip can't open the file for the reason I stated above.

I know it isn't installed, still go through it. There could be some of those files still in those places you're supposed to delete.

Check your ram, might be faulty. Happened to me.

Yes, take the disc out of the drive, then get the laptop and play frisbee over the freeway. After that, install the game on a desktop. My money says that will solve your problem.

M9700 with AMD turion 64 mobile dual 256 Nvidia geforce go 7900 SLI, 1.8 GHZ processor, it worked on this computer when I first bought the comp so I think its the disc.
