Steam Problems

I've been having troubles with steam.
Every time I click on it to open up, it loads for a second then stops.
I've tried re-installing plenty of times, and it did not work, any ideas?

steam! oh lets not go there...
is someone using your account/give any info away/hacked?
make sure another program isnt blocking it...possibly a firewall?
steam has been really weird lately with all these crazy updates...
so maybe just wait it out and then give it another try
i say play bf2.
