Using 2 Hard drives how do you do it?

Ok so i have 8 Hard drives spare that are quite good and all need to be formatted ready for ebay. Now i have only got windows 2000 on the pc im using to format i do have some windows pro reoload cds but no cd keys to go with them as the computers that i guess went with them got sold on from this company and they never gave them the reload cd maybe its why they went bust lol anyway......This is how i imagined i would wipe them.

Set the HD in pc 1 to windows 2000 as the master.
Set 2nd hard drive to slave and format that.

Bios is picking them both up fine but when i go into my computer to format the 2nd one its not there its in device manager but not in my computer any suggestions are welcome! Remember its windows 2000 i have no cd key so i cant use pro atm!

Did you store any data on them? If so, I recommend zeroing them about 3-20 times in a row using the dd tool (google DD for windows), because you never know what sneaky f*cker might buy HDDs for that purpose.

Next thing, this is happening because the volumes aren't actually mounted. Go to start => run => diskmgmt.msc and then assign drive letters to them all. My way is far better, a format won't be good enough if you value privacy.
