hey
I'll be switching to a new version of windows soon and i have lost the manual with the CD key on it. Is there any way to find it in the computer? and how?
thanks
If you haven't done so already and still have the game installed, go to your BF2 folder on the Start menu and click the link that says "Register this product". Then go here,
Another option is installing the freeware Belarc advisor. This handy program takes a picture of your computer that includes motherboard, processor, and all harware information as well as OS and programs installed including all of their security keys! Once you have the report, make a hard copy and a digital copy for future use!

Not on my computer it doesn't. Hell Belarc doesn't even acknowledge that I have BF2 installed never mind reporting the cd-key. Same goes for all other games that I have installed, it shows most of the games but not a single cd-key. I also have Everest installed (very useful and well worth $30.00 it costs) and it doesn't show BF2 at all, but does a couple of other games and programs (Nero for one, that doesn't show up in Belarc).
All things considering the best option is what I posted previously.

Meet my 1kb friend called "DD" that can do just that with zero hassle.
