dvd drives

right well ive just got my graphics card sorted and i come to instal it and all the dvd drive does it whistle at me. So i thinks its quite obvious (cos ive tried to instal other dvd games) that the drive is bust and thus i need to get a new one.
Now ive been looking at them and was wondering wich dvd drive you would recomend (bellow £40 pls).

Just wondering, why would you waste an SATA port on something that doesn't even saturate USB bandwidth?

I agree, SATA cables are much easier to work with, when changing parts etc.
