Right as I'm a complete idiot I can't get my Opteron 175 to run faster then 2.4 GHz. I have an Asus A8N32-SLI Deluxe mainboard and PNY ram with copper heatsinks.
At the moment I'm using the mainboards stock overclocking profile, currently on 10 %. But I know the chip can go to about 2,8GHz easy, and the temp will be fine as I have excellent cooling.
Problem is, whenever I increase the bus, my RAM speed slows. I need both up and am unsure how to achieve it.
