I am running my 2 gigz of ram in dual channel right now and im thinking of getting a third. I know if I get that third I will not be running in dual but with the third it should still be faster, right?
Will be slower but you'll have more memory... It will run in Dual Channel Assymetric mode which isn't as fast, but still faster than single channel. Get 4 sticks, much better.
