    Re: physx

No, because right now I believe the only game it will even work with is Ghost Recon AW.

      waste of money (for now)
and as new CPU are soooo much better
hard to see anyone writing games for them
plus the difficulty in getting them to work with your MoBo

          Re: physx

And, many of the larger GPU and CPU companies are going to start hardcoding physics component into the silicon. So that company might not have much of a future.

Even if you had nothing else to spend it on, its still not worth it.

Neither is the KillerNic. Both are a waste of money at this point.

Just sink your money into more RAM or a Video Card (which you are already doing). If you have that much quid to waste, they just add it to the video card you want to buy and go bigger.

I read about a test where it proved that a physix card made no difference to performance what so ever. GHX cards will have them built in in the future.Put your money towards some ram while its so cheap

nVidia is integrating physics support into their GPUs. I imagine ATI will follow through.

Ageis PhysX Cards are a waste of money. They sound all cool, and PC manufactures can jack up their prices because of this cool named card inside, but on the gaming benchmarks they do squat!!!!

                          DO NOT BUY!!!!

                              Maybe in the future.

                              Here is something to read:

I think I remember hearing the game will be entirely free?
