Recording FPS

Just curious, what is the best way to show frames per second when playing battlefield 2. Do I need a different program or can I do it with BF2 itself?

There is a way to do it in BF2 mate but I don't know how (perhaps try a search on this site )
I use fraps, just google it, its easy to use, and you can make films with it as well as screen shots.

bring down the console by pressing the ` key which is located direcetly beneath the Esc button, then type renderer.drawfps 1 some numbers will then appear on your top left screen. The numbesr on the right represent how much CPU usage is being used & the numbers on the left are your fps.

I thought the number on the right was the time between frames in milliseconds, not cpu usage ?!

It's time between frames.

Fraps isn't as accurate, and is rather annoying.

its still accurate enough, and no it isn't annoying :)
Its easy to use and you can record films etc with it, so bleh to you
