So my HDD is about to pop its clogs...

I have 122MB of damaged data (i.e. 2 blocks), from 3050MB to 3172MB on my HDD. Is there any way to force the drive to reallocate them (i.e. using the spare sectors on the HDD, there are 100 left)?

Or could I simply send the HDD in for warranty? And if so, what would be the best way to wipe it silly?

ok you could try scandisk and if its not a primary drive format it. as its data which is damged from turning a pc off at the button etc.

It could be also the drive failing whats its smart status?
