yeah, i would go for a gig of ram first. ur video card isnt that powerful i think (its gs right?) so i would do wat cloaker said and wait for a 8600..i think those are like less than $200

nah its a gt man,never go for those dam gs,ill thinking of getting 2 gbs of some good corsair ram probably.

^ oh in taht case..the gt is pretty decent and i dont think u need to upgrade ur video card atm unless u want to pplay some new games

Got a dedicated sound card?

My new X-fi Sound card was $100 bucks and really brought the sound quality up a lot.

the 8600 GT is 150$
The 8600 Ultra id 199$ (might be 10$ less)
i cant wait till march
