brought vista and was lead to believe it was 64 bit!ripped off

All the forums say 64 and 32 bit are on the same dvd with vista premuim full version.even the box says 32/64 bit but then in fine print it say 64 bit version also avaliable

then i open it and a card says need 64 bit instead of 32 go to......

it asks for my product number( like i dont want to give that out)
and it doesnt even say how much or how u get it.

but im not installing it yet maybe in a few weeks but has anyone done this 64 bit thing?or is it maybe free?

bit anoyed because this info is hidden in the sealed box and u have to buy it to find out because no one knows S&%#

ok i filled out there form including the info on what hand i sleep with and its 15$aus to send me a 64bit dvd2-3 weeks.not so bad

but still a 15 $scam

actually not all forums say that and it should be clearly written from where you bought it,

there is only 1 version of vista that includes both 32/64bit;

Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate 32-Bit & 64-Bit Edition DVD - Retail (taken from overclockers.co.uk) the rest with 64bit listed says their is info inside the bo of how to obtain tre 64bit version

Just wait till people who dont even realize that there are different version try installing x64 apps on there x32 Vista installs.
