Stopped working

I bought the game, played for a few days patchless... patched it and it stopped. No errors, the screen just flashes like games do when you start them and it goes back to desktop. Any suggestions?

Ive already played it before. It just crashes to my desktop if I try to install the patch. I have a geforce fx 5200 video card Cant upgrade til I make some money. It works fine without the patch though. Ive tried multiple different sites for the patch too. I have the deluxe edition by the way. Ive also reinstalled bf2 and the patch but its just not working for me at all.

u didnt renamed bf2.exe by any chance?

you computer probably just can't handle bf2

Im thinking he might have a ATI 9200 or 9250 which is not supported anymore.

Someone please help me. I cant play online until I get this patched.
