    Logitech E3DP

i have a logitech extreme 3d pro. Its messed up, like all of them. People say adjusting deadzones would fix the problem, but it only fixes part of mine. Here are some pictures of my j10 when i enter and exit (flaps change according to my js) This is when my joystick is physically centered. X-axis, Y-axis, and twist are all set to 30% deadzone, 100% range, and 50% sensitivity.

    Left wing

    Right wing

    Vertical Stabilizer

yes its slight, but it completely messes up my precision shooting. The only thing i found the deadzones fixed is the Y axis (pitch, pulling back & pushing forward) i know this because when i press ctrl in 3rd person view its the only flaps (canards) that dont seem to move. Anyone know any solutions? or am i doing something wrong? And yes, i have the battlefield 2 profile set up.

yeah i calibrated my joystick. i use wrong choice of words, i dont hog the j10 ever. J10 has simple flap designs so i chose it so you can see clearly. Can you stop critisizing me and help me out please?

The way I fixed this problem was simple: I violently ripped the stick out and bought a new joystick. I bought a crappy Saitek 290 Pro for $15 less than I paid for my Logitech and it doesn't have the same problem I had before. My Logitech always drifted down and left. It was like driving a car with a messed up alignment.

I've had this happened a few times, heres the fix without the need for extra programs, for every single time I've done this it has fixed it like new. I use my Joystick alot and it's by far the best I've ever had, it's been over 3 years of using the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

P.S. I also showed this to metalica a while back and he also claimed that this fixed it. so, good luck! :)

Didnt work for me. I was wondering if other people with the e3dp have this problem: the spring is firm, which is nice, but around the center, you can easily wiggle it around. In other words, its loose around the center, but if i push it in any direction its more stable. When im wiggling it in this loose zone, the properties show that it is juttering in every directions. its like this area is extremely sensitive, but once i go past the, lets say 10% deadzone area, everything is fine. Just within this deadzone everything is ****ed up, if you will. And it never gets calibrated to the center. So: 1) its super sensitive in the middle area and 2) when i let go of it, my plane doesnt fly straight.

oh and dont say adjust your deadzones, because ive put it to 90 percent and ive had the same problems.

I had the exact same problems with mine. I'd tweak it to no end, and it still woud not work. I'd call up Logitech and see what they have to say. When I called them, they offered to replace it free of charge, and ship it back to me for free.
