lightning.fx not found!

hey all!

i recently installed bf2 & bf2sf on my new comp. i did play both of them

then on this forum i read about how to put bf2 in widescreen res. tried it but max i can go is 1280x1024 so it didnt really work ... i was able to fix bf2 and play but sf wont work since. says : mods/bf2/shaders/lightning.fx not found!

i dont understand. i re-installed sf and it still says that. bf2 is fine though ...

can someone help? thanks in advance

after i did try to change the res in bf2 (by editing the link's properties like seen on this forum) i noticed a few weird things in the game ... wish i could get a pic but im kinda noob with taking pics or vids from games...

for ex: instead of saying john_doe(l96a1)dead_guy it says something like john_doe(KILL_MESSAGE_L96A1)dead_guy ... also with the no vehicles options in the menu and few other things ... anyone knows what its all about??

Install 1.41 update. I know you may have done it before, but that error says it's time to do it again.

No vehicles option is for Infantry Only. Meaning you do a lot of walking and running on the server and don't have to worry about looking both ways before crossing the street. It's nice at times but boring at others.
