Game crashes upon entry

I just recently went out and bought the battlefield 2 deluxe edition. I installed it with no problems. The game loaded up fine, got through the videos fine, but when I got to the main screen and tried to run a single player game, it would load up the game and when I clicked to join singleplayer it would briefly go into the game (show the level) and then flicker back to the loading screen and freeze. My specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon XP 1800+
1.49 GHZ
384 MB RAM
Video card: ATI Radeon 9200
Hard drive free Space: 75.3 Gigs

I am guessing that I need a new video card? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

You kind of need new everything. Your processor and RAM aren't up to snuff, either.

Well, in that case does anyone want a brand new battlefield 2 game? I've already dished out over $200 upgrading this thing.
