E6400 overclock *pics*

:) hey guys i know i made another thread of how to overclock my processor but it was getting no action. i read my mobo manual and there is nothing that says overclock in there. I decided to just post a pic of what i see in the BIOS and figured you guys can help me out.


well thyere it is. please tell me what to do to overclock my cpu.

the best thing you can do is to research your subject..

ummm it was really just a simple question. thanks for the beginners guide but i just wanna simply overclock my cpu. and i posted that pic so that someone can point out what i need to click on to overclock etc. thanks anyways though appreciate it.

Overclocking in the bios isn't a simple thing to do, there are many variables and plenty can go wrong if you don't know what you are doin.
If you want a simple OC try a windows based OC'ing program, like Clockgen or if you are lucky maybe you got one with your mobo package.

look this is my point of view when i will one day overclock a cpu..

it will be like the 1st time you fixed your pc you might have goofed it but you learn and do a better job next time, i like to help fix pc's and i never stop learning as things always change SO when i want to overclock one day i want to learn about it myself so if something mess's up i can only blame myself which will make me work harder to learn more and try again doing things myself.

i rarely make posts on forums for help unless its something that unsure off and need a second opinion

If you're asking for help on overclocking your CPU and posting pics of what you see in your BIOS, I'd strongly suggest you leave it alone.

Take a photo of every screen in your bios (and this time DO IT RIGHT AND GET THE FULL SCREEN!!!!).

If it's an OEM PC (i.e. Dell, HP, Compaq, etc), forget it.

Dude, just leave it alone... Its good enough already.

if you knew anything about overclocknig you would have bought the E6300 instead of the E6400 as its the same chip just with a higher clock.
In order to overclock there are lots of things to change such as CPU Frequency, voltage, FSB speed etc...

If you don't know what you are doing, just leave it. its very easy for things to go wrong.
