New CMOS Battery

I pulled out my old mobo, which booted up with no problem. But it doesn't have a battery to save the BIOS settings. Which I need so I can disable a few things in the boot.

It goes into windows and everything!

So can I just go to radio shack or wal-mart and pick up a what I think a 3V?

I have an Asus A8N-SLI

N/M after digging through crap I found the battery info/

If you get the manual it should state which battery it requires. And then go and buy one

Unless your motherboard uses something different what you need is a CR2032 (or just 2032 depending on who the battery is made by).

Yea I went to a CVS , wallgreens type, and lucky picked up the correct one.

I went by the number, guess bigger = more power lol
