So, yeah. How does the pagefile operate in Vista compared to XP? Does it still set the pagefile 1,5x amount of the ram like XP does? Doesn't make sense at all, if you have 512mb ram the pagefile is 768mb, and if you have 2gb ram the page file is enormous, 3gigs! Why should it be bigger when you have more RAM?
I've already had enough of setting the pagefile in XP, it literally kills me. So is it possible that Vista sets the pagefile correctly as default, or do you have to adjust and adjust it 24/7 until you get the right size and optimal place for it?
