Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
ok, slight change in plan. Im going to buy a cheap *** soundcard for now and buy a new modem. Ill need help on this tho.
What I ned to know is... How to find out what type of modem I have. What do I need to look for when buying a modem; or what is just a good modem.
you mean a cable modem?
or an "old school" v.92 telephone modem?--most motherboards (edit: oops, just noticed your's doesn't) still have these integrated, if not you can get one for $.17 (ok, maybe $.17 plus a ten-spot) at any local electronics store. all it needs to say is 56k v.92 with a PCI interface. any brand will do. watch out though--if you plan on putting in a high end gpu, the fan might overlap your PCI slot, and if you want to put in a sound card later...well...you might be running out of open PCI slots.
have you considered getting a modem with a USB interface? something like:
I think it was more in terms of the percent of the overclock of the 2 mb cache was higher than the 4 mb, like the e6300 could over clock twice as high as it was originally and the 4 mb cache models couldnt overclock twice their stock speeds.
Something like that...
Only because the e6300 has a lower clock than the e6600.
Thats like saying an Opty 144 overclocks better than a 146. Which is only because the 144 is clocked slower. In the end, the overall overclocked speed and it's stability is what matters. For a better, more stable overclock, that you can full utilize, the e6600 is the way to go.
Ok my comp is nearly done. I will go with the mother board and the processor sugjested by Alex. With he DX10 issue, I have been told that DX9 cards will be able to support DX10, is this true?
I need a new case also, I am going buy a cheap case now but I need to know if this case is a p.o.s. or if its just a good deal. Case
Last thing I can think of for now is what do I need to put usb/audio ports in the front of my computer.
Keep in mind to use dx10 you will have to run vista. XP will not have DX10 Support.
