Don't laugh, you look like an idiot.

Just because you have a 500 watt PSU doesn't mean that the PSU can power all of that. Sure, it may only use 200watts, however, all your components may require more amps than your PSU can provide.

In short, we need to know your PSU ASAP. You may be damaging your parts.

and the lights in my computer flicker on and off after a while of gaming with power fan maxed out, then the fan tends to make these funny sounds. then when i exit the game and test to see if the power suppl fan starts goin again max, it doesnt budge.

suggestion: go to bestbuy and borrow an antec 550W PSU. plug it in. power on. if all goes well, return it to the store and order one from newegg. only downside is that you will have to loan bestbuy $90 for a few hours.

my guess is that will fix it. oh, and is your thermaltake still under warranty?

yeah i still have the warranty, and i know that the nvidia 8800 is to much for the psu and the sound card. so off to get a 750. and do you guys know whats causing the flickering of the blue lights in the chassis? this is when my fan starts loosin speed.
