Which processor is better?

Intel Pentium D 945 Dual Core Processor (3.40GHz, 800MHz, 2x2MB)

OR

Intel Core 2 Duo E6300 Processor (1.86GHz, 1066MHz, 2MB)

I'll have to agree with cloaker,A buddy of mine has the E6300,and he is always praising it and telling me how nice it is.

It seems close because of the tech specs, but really the 6300 is better. You won't be dissapointed with it

Make sure that you MoBo supports the C2D

Get the Duo, Personally I would take it over anything because it can be overclocked easily.

Make sure that you MoBo supports the C2D

Definitely check up on that. Just because a mobo is socket 775 doesn't necessarily mean it's Core 2 Duo compatible.
